ONE FRONT DOOR, ONE RECORD

Upward Is a Multi-Touchpoint CRM

Your Bio / Profile Page is the front door. Everything a person does there, and everything you send them, is recorded on one CRM record.

WHAT IT ISA multi-touchpoint CRM records every way a person interacts with you, not only the form they filled in. In Upward, the Bio / Profile Page is the front door: bookings, messages, subscriptions, video sign-ups, reviews, chat, tracked link clicks, MySite requests, emails and shared files each create or update a lead or timeline activity on the same record.

The front door and everything behind it

Most CRMs wait for you to enter a lead. Upward gives people many reasons to raise their hand on your Bio / Profile Page and then catches every one. The diagram above shows ten touchpoints. Each feeds the same record, so the history in front of you before a call includes the booking, the message, the email they opened and the video that first brought them in.

What each touchpoint records

Each row below was checked against how Upward saves it.

  • Schedule a Meeting: a lead in the first pipeline stage, the contact, and a Meeting booked activity with date, time, length, location, link, guests and form answers. Reschedules and cancellations add their own activity.
  • Subscribe to meeting updates: a lead with the source reference Meeting notifications.
  • Contact Me: a lead with the source Contact form and a Contact form submission note listing every field.
  • MySite enquiry or meeting request: activity on the person the MySite was made for, or a new lead if the visitor is new.
  • Follow or sign in from Videos, Meetings, Reviews, Recent Work or notifications: a lead whose source names the module, and a note such as Visitor signed up from video.
  • Submitted review: a lead whose notes carry the star rating and the review text.
  • Vutesa live chat: a lead created on the visitor's first message, with the source Assistant.
  • Emails you send from the CRM: an email activity with its delivery status.
  • A file you share with a lead or contact: a note on the timeline, plus views logged on the file.

Visitors who sign in become people you know

Following, commenting and reacting need a visitor account, so Upward shows a short sign-in popup tied to the module the visitor is using. When a real visitor completes it, Upward creates one lead for that person, tagged with the module they came from: Video, Meetings, Reviews, Recent work, Notifications or Assistant. The lead holds the visitor's name, email or phone and photo. You also get an email telling you who just registered.

  • One lead per visitor identity per member. Returning visitors add a note to the same lead.
  • A visitor needs an email or a phone number to become a lead.
  • Members, company owners, admins and platform staff are never captured as leads on their own pages.

Videos: sign-ups, reactions and comments

A visitor can follow your videos, like or dislike a video and comment on it, and each of these needs a sign-in. The first sign-in creates the lead. Comments are saved, you are emailed about each new one, and your company can turn on moderation so comments are held for approval first. Reactions are stored with the video and counted in its engagement. When a person watches through a tracked link made for them, watch time and completion are attributed to their lead or contact.

Email and chat close the loop

What you send is part of the record too. Emails sent from the CRM log as email activities, and delivery tracking records whether each was sent, delivered, opened or clicked. Opens are counted from a tracking image, with scanners filtered out and repeat fetches within five minutes collapsed. On the timeline each email shows its status: sent, delivered, opened or failed. In chat, Vutesa answers visitor questions on your page, a person can step in, and a real visitor's first message creates the lead.

One timeline, filtered the way you work

Open any contact and the timeline shows the history in order. The category filter lets you narrow it to All Activity, Activities, Communications, Notes, Meetings, Content Engagement, Forms & Chat, Files & Recordings or System, so you can find the call you promised or the email that was never opened. From the same record you can schedule a call, send email or SMS, add a task or convert the lead to a contact.

What is not automatic, and why

A CRM is only useful if it is clean. Upward creates a lead only when a real person gives you a way to reach them. A click from someone anonymous is counted but does not become a lead. A reaction on a video is stored but does not add a timeline entry on its own. Activity from your own team never becomes a lead. That keeps your pipeline full of people you can actually talk to.

Who it's for

Owners who are tired of leads scattered across tools
Teams that want a complete history before every call
Sellers who share links and videos and want to know who engaged
Anyone replacing a separate form tool, scheduler and inbox

How it works

Publish your front door

Turn on the modules you want: Schedule a Meeting, Contact Me, Videos, Reviews and Recent Work.

Share your links

Post your page link, QR code or tracked links so you know what brought each visitor.

Let people act

Visitors book, write, subscribe, comment, review, chat or click, and the CRM records each action.

Follow up from one record

Open the lead to see the whole history, then send email or SMS, schedule a call or add a task.

What's included

Meetings

A booking creates or updates a lead and contact with the full meeting detail.

Messages and forms

Contact Me and MySite forms create a lead and a note listing every answer.

Subscriptions and follows

Following videos, meetings, reviews or recent work creates a lead tagged with that module.

Video sign-in and comments

Visitors sign in to react or comment, which creates a lead. You are emailed about new comments.

Reviews

A submitted review creates a lead, and the review waits for your approval before it shows.

Chat

A real visitor's first message to Vutesa on your page becomes a lead.

Tracked links

Clicks are counted, tied to a person when known, and can alert you.

Email and files

Emails you send log their delivery status, and files you share are noted on the timeline.

How Upward is different

The page visitors see and the CRM you work in are the same system
One person is one lead: new activity joins the open lead instead of creating a duplicate
Sources are recorded, so you can see which module or link brought someone
Members, owners and staff are never captured as leads on their own page
No integrations to wire up between a form tool, a scheduler and a CRM

Frequently asked questions

What is a multi-touchpoint CRM?

A CRM that records every way a person interacts with you, such as booking, messaging, watching, reviewing, clicking and chatting, on one record. A single-touchpoint CRM only records what you type in or what one form sends.

Which actions create a lead?

Booking a meeting, subscribing to meeting updates, sending Contact Me or a MySite form, following or signing in from Videos, Meetings, Reviews or Recent Work, submitting a review, and a real visitor's first chat message. Leads can also come from Facebook Page activity, the public API and imports.

Do likes and dislikes create a lead?

A visitor must sign in to react to a video, and the first sign-in from a module creates the lead. The reaction itself is stored with the video and counted in its engagement. Anonymous visitors stay anonymous.

Will I get duplicate leads?

Not for the same person. By default, new activity from someone who already has an open lead, matched by contact or email, is added to that lead. The merge setting and its time window are in your CRM settings.

Can I see where a lead came from?

Yes. Every lead has a source, such as Contact form or Meeting booking, and many carry a reference, such as the meeting type, the topic, the MySite or the tracked link that brought them.

Does it work for teams?

Yes. Each member has their own page and their own leads, and company owners and team leaders can be given visibility, depending on how the lead's visibility is set.

What about people who click but never identify themselves?

Their clicks are counted on the link, but no lead is created until a person gives you a name and a way to reach them.
