BIO / PROFILE PAGE: LAYOUTS AND APPEARANCE

Change How Your Page Looks Without Touching What It Says

Five layouts, a header you design, a company color theme, a light and dark switch and a translator. None of them moves a module or edits a word.

WHAT IT ISUpward gives every Bio / Profile Page five layouts: Classic, Modern Hero, Professional Sidebar, Card / Tile and Split Hero. A layout changes only the presentation, never your content, menu or modules. You also design a header from an image, a color or both, and companies can set a theme and decide which header options members may use.

The five layouts

Each layout is a template for the same content. The names and descriptions below are the ones in the layout picker.

  • Classic: the current Bio / Profile layout
  • Modern Hero: large header with a centered profile and quick-access buttons
  • Professional Sidebar: profile and menu in a left column, content on the right
  • Card / Tile: compact profile card with your menu as app-style tiles
  • Split Hero: bold split header pairing your company message with your profile

Layouts by plan

Free member and free company plans get Classic. Paid plans get all five. If a layout is chosen on a plan that does not include it, the page shows Classic and remembers your choice, so upgrading restores it. A locked layout in the picker shows the plan and monthly price to upgrade to. The extra layouts are rolling out, so the layout button may not appear on every site yet.

Design the header

The header sits above your profile on every layout. Choose Image Only, Color Only or Image + Color. You preview it for desktop and for mobile before saving, and the image is cropped to the right size for each.

  • Images: upload, or pick from the company, industry or splash libraries, or reuse a recent one
  • Colors: a solid color from 18 presets or a color picker, or a gradient with direction, color stops and presets
  • Opacity, logo position and header text with font, size and position
  • Scrolling text across the header
  • Header image and color selector are included on every member plan

Company control over the header

From Bio / Profile settings an owner designs a master header that members inherit until they customize their own. A member can reset back to the company header at any time. Owners can lock the header entirely or switch off individual options, such as uploads, a header type, logos, text or scrolling text.

Themes and dark mode

A company picks a Color Theme that applies to member bio pages and to the preview in settings. Each public page also carries a light and dark switch in the top corner, so visitors choose what is comfortable.

Languages

A floating Translate button lets visitors read your page in another language. The catalog covers more than 100 languages. Companies choose a default and the languages they allow, and where a member has the permission, they can limit which languages visitors see on their own page.

Company control over modules

Beyond the look, owners can rename a module for every member, hide it, lock its name, stop members adding their own entries, and set the default module order that members inherit until they reorder. The modules covered are Links, Recent Work, Products, Services, Videos, Reviews, About Me, Skills and Social Media.

Part of the front door, and every visit feeds the CRM

A page that looks like your brand earns the trust that gets a visitor to book. The Bio / Profile Page is the front door to your business: a visitor who books a meeting, sends the contact form or follows a tracked link ends up as a lead or contact in your CRM, ready for follow-up by email, SMS or Vutesa.

How it works

Choose a layout

Select the layout button on your page and pick one of five. Your content, menu and settings stay exactly as they are.

Design the header

Choose Image Only, Color Only or Image + Color, then set the image, colors, text and logo.

Check both screens

Preview the header on desktop and on mobile before you save.

Let the company theme and switches do the rest

A company theme sets the palette, and visitors get a light and dark switch and a translate button.

Frequently asked questions

Does changing the layout change my content?

No. Every layout shows the same profile data, menu and modules. Only the presentation changes.

Which plans include the extra layouts?

Free member and free company plans use Classic. The other four layouts need a paid plan. If you choose a layout your plan does not include, the page falls back to Classic and your choice is kept.

I cannot see the layout button. Why?

The four additional layouts are rolling out, so the layout button may not be on your site yet. Classic is always available.

Can my company control the header?

Yes. An owner can lock the header for members, or disable the company, industry and splash libraries, uploads, each header type, logo, text and scrolling text separately.

Do visitors get dark mode?

Yes. Each page has a light and dark switch in the top corner.

Which languages are available?

The translator draws from a catalog of more than 100 languages. Your company decides which ones to offer, and where permitted a member can limit the languages visitors see on their page.
