Privacy Policy

Vutesa Record is a browser extension that lets you record your screen, a window, a browser tab, or your camera, then review, download, or upload the result to a workspace you have paired with.

We designed Vutesa Record to be private by default. Recordings stay on your device unless you choose to upload them. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or creditworthiness decisions.

Recordings and media: video, screen, window, tab, microphone, and camera content that you explicitly choose to capture. These are created and held on your device.

Extension settings: your preferences such as the selected microphone and camera, camera bubble position and style, countdown length, and background blur or filter choices.

Pairing information: when you enter a pairing code, we store the token that links the extension to your workspace so uploads can be authorised.

We do not collect browsing history, keystrokes, form contents, location, health, financial, or personal communications.

Recordings are written to local browser storage on your own computer while you record and review them.

A recording leaves your device only when you take an explicit action: downloading it as a file, or uploading it to the workspace you paired with. Uploaded recordings are then subject to that workspace's own retention and access rules.

Deleting a recording in the extension review screen removes it from local storage.

storage: to keep your recording preferences and in-progress recordings on your device.

scripting: to display the floating studio controls and camera bubble on the page you are recording.

activeTab and tabs: to identify the tab you chose to capture and to return you to the review screen when a recording ends.

Host access is limited to the workspace domains used for pairing and uploading. The extension does not read the content of other websites you visit.

We do not sell or rent any information. We do not transfer your data to third parties except as needed to deliver an upload you initiated to the workspace you paired with, or where required by law.

You can unpair the extension at any time from the extension settings, which removes the stored pairing token.

You can delete local recordings from the review screen, and you can remove the extension entirely from your browser, which clears its local storage.

To request deletion of recordings you already uploaded, use the workspace where they were stored.

Vutesa Record is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and revise the date shown below.
